Message From the Chairman

 

Mediland Hospital was ceremonially opened on Sunday March 10, 2003 at 9.30 am by the Founder & Chairman Dr. S.M.A.Azeez. The history of the hospital is unique. We started to Provite our health care services in 1995 to the people  all communities in amparai district under the name of mediland multi clinic center.

Then ,with the indroduction of several new services and the prograssive grawth it happened to change the name of our institution accordingly

• In 1997 mediland pharmacy and clinic center

• In 2003  mediland hospital 

• In 2008  A complete Hospital Service Started inward,Channelling ,operation theoter and labour room facilities with other facilities.

• Now in 2014 We come forwad to be the leading private hospital in amparai district and one of the leading private hospital in the eastern province.with morethen 35 consultants giving thier services, OtherPhysical and paramedical services round the clock.

The Mediland Hospital is centrally located in Main street ,Kalmunai 09.( Infront of asraff memorial hospital) It would be a great source of convenience to the thickly populated Kalmunai and for those who are coming to Kalmunai from all over the  Sri lanka. The Hospital has the most modern equipments required for diagnostic studies and for surgical operations.Mediland Hospital is destined to be an important contribution to improving the quality of life in the East and the North-east sections of the city, wilts also catering to the health needs of the peoples belt spreading along the Eastern which is easily accessible by road

 

I am happy and delighted. My prayers to the Almighty Allah for His Guidance, to fulfill my desire  to be of service to all  of society in need  of medical treatment with efficiency and care.

I will be failing in my duty if I do not acknowledge with gratitude the encouragement and moral support given to me at all times by people at all levels of society. I sincerely offer my grateful thanks to all those who helped me to makes this dream come true.
